MidwichHome to distribute Evolve Audio products Evolve Audio, a new brand in the consumer electronics market, has appointed MidwichHome as its UK & Northern Ireland distribution partner to the independent retailer channel. Evolve Audio was established in 2013 and is owned by Taiwanese manufacturer Janky Inc. The company is now launching its first product in the UK – the SB-2501 soundbar – after two years in development and has a product roadmap of CE goods launching throughout the rest of the year and well into 2017. Philip Bass, Sales and Marketing Director at Evolve Audio, said: “We are very excited to be launching our first product, as the work behind the scenes has been immense. It was vital that we worked with a focused and experienced team from launch, and I am delighted to be partnered with MidwichHome as we look to develop a high-quality distribution network across the UK.” The SB-2501 soundbar incorporates Evolve Audio’s own ‘Definitive Surround Sound’ DSP, a wireless subwoofer, aptX Bluetooth streaming and a pair of integrated lossless wireless headphones in a one-box package. The unit has a slim design and is finished in brushed aluminium.
